Central Oregon Trail Alliance (COTA) and amazing volunteers have been hard at work on building some new trails throughout Central Oregon!
From COTA:
Thanks to the hard work of hundreds of volunteers throughout Central Oregon, multiple trails are newly completed or under construction!
New Trails:
Afternoon Delight - This 4.5-mile trail can be accessed from both Bend and Sunriver and connects Tyler’s Traverse to the Roundabout Trail near the Cardinal Landing Bridge in Sunriver.
Stinger and Jackrabbit - Both located on Cline Butte and accessed from the Cascade View Trailhead, these new trails form a 2-mile intermediate loop and can be combined with Blue-Belly Loop and Blue-Belly Stem. An outer loop past the Jackrabbit intersection is still under construction and will provide technical rocky sections and amazing mountain views for those looking to spice it up a bit more.
Quadruple Bypass - Speaking of spicing it up, this new 2-mile trail is part of the 66 Trail System on the canyon rim in Prineville and gives riders the option to build their technical riding skills on challenging wood features.
